Loose Threads Society
Who are we?
The Loose Threads Society is a local group of quilters who meet monthly to learn more about sewing and quilting. We spend a few hours chatting and showing off our newest projects, learning from each other, and planning quilts.
We meet in Harrison, Arkansas. If you live within driving distance, we’d love to meet you!

Round Robin Project
We love doing Round Robin Quilts. Each person starts with a block of their choosing and at our meeting, we exchange blocks. You take home the new block, along with any notes or fabric the owner may have passed on with it, and you add a few borders or rows or something to the block. At the next meeting, we exchange it again, so now you have a new person’s block. This keeps going until the top has either went around to each person in the group, or the block’s owner says it’s big enough. It’s a year-long project, but it’s a community effort and at the end of the year, you have something that everyone has worked on.
