Loose Threads Society
Who are we?
The Loose Threads Society is a local group of sewists and quilters, or those wishing to become one. We try to share the love and joy of quilting with the younger generations. We have members of all ages and abilities from 20-something’s to 80-something’s, beginners to experts. We meet once a month and discuss techniques, patterns, and projects. We help one another, we chat, and we have fun.
We’d love to have you if you’re near Harrison, AR!

2026 Round Robin Quilts
We are hosting a Round Robin Quilt project this year. If you’re not familiar, a Round Robin Quilt is one that gets passed to each participating member throughout the course of the year. Each person who has it, adds a few borders or something to it to enlarge it. After the year is up, the block is returned to its original creator for finishing. It’s a great way to have a project that all your friends have worked on together. Below are our current guidelines, techniques, ideas, and blog posts about my journey throughout the process.

As we discuss things, I’ll try to put links here for those who may have missed a meeting. If we have handouts, I’ll link either the PDF or the website here.
