I take a lot of my inspiration from Jenny Doan at Missouri Star Quilt Company. I learned a lot of quilting techniques from her videos. One of her favorite sayings, is "What happens if...." and so one day, I was looking at a normal Bear Paw Block and I wondered how it might be modified, and the Cryptid Claw Block was born!
It will come in 4 sizes. 6" will be paper piecing only. 12", 18", and 24" will have both traditional options and paper piecing options. Look for the pattern later this week. In the meantime, check out this fabric from Riley Blake that coordinates with it!
