April 2026 Round Robin

This Round Robin started its life as a simple Hunter's Star. It's been in at least 2 other people's hands so far. My original block had a wonky star in it, and Michelle added even more last month. I was thinking about that when I was bringing this quilt home, so the choice to add stars came pretty quickly.

I had already been working with blues and yellows and dark colors for some other projects, so the scrappiness came from just using the leftover pieces that were already out on my cutting station. I had meant to make these finish at 4", but I miscut some fabric. Instead of 1.5", I cut it to 1", so I just decided to make the stars a little smaller than my original plan.

Like always, I made a solid border to give the next person a nice even, flat surface to work from, and to space out my crazy design a bit from the rest of the designs.
