Introducing Red, White and Boom!
This is my first magazine-published pattern, released just a few weeks ago in McCall's Quilting, Summer 2026. This throw is a modified version of my popular Stellar Array quilt, but is more remensicent of the fireworks displays I'd watch from the hilltop overlooking the town. This quilt was made with Moda Fabric and finishes at throw size: 60"x75"
I first got the word that this quilt was accepted into the magazine back in September or October and I was over the moon. I'd just submitted a few ideas to see what might happen, I never actually imagined that they'd accept it! I worked with the Editor to select just the right fabrics for it, and my good friend at the Ditsy Fish Quilt shop quilted it for me with this cute star motif.
